Around the World 

Who says learning has to be boring? Our summer camps keep campers engaged while they learn about science, history and geography. As a bonus they also learn about self-esteem and leadership as they complete different challenges and tasks. Each day they learn something new and create a take-away to help them remember the lesson. 

 

Half Day Morning Session: 9 am – 12 pm $159 if registered by May 18th; After May 18th price $199

Full Day Session: 9 am – 4 pm (Lunch/Free time 12-1 pm daily) $304 if registered by May 18th; After May 18th $379 after

Week 1 

July 30th – August 3rd 

Our Fascinating Blue and Green Planet

 

This week, students will have the opportunity to explore the world around them.  Learning about every continent, the unique terrain on them, the creatures that inhabitant them and of course interactive activities that will continually leave them excited about the next day.  Come explore the Earth and beyond with us this week as we delve into its unique beauties.   

Areas of focus: Geography and Astronomy 

Week 2

August 6th – August 10th

Adventure and Extraordinary Feats

Explore the world through the eyes of great leaders, heroes and legends around the world.  This week, students will engage in activities that allow them to experience the lives of these unique individuals.  After hearing and experiencing these hero’s stories, students will be able to live through their adventures and extraordinary feats.  

Areas of focus: Historical Leaders, Leadership and Self-Esteem 

Week 3

August 13th – August 17th

The 5 senses of Art

Students will engage all their senses in during the “5 Senses of Art” week as they experience Arts from around the world.  Not your typical Arts and Craft classes.  This week, students will be able to touch, taste, smell, see and hear arts from around the world.  Become engulfed in a civilization’s unique culture.  During this week, students will paint, craft, build and even cook.  Explore the world through the eyes of others.

Week 4 

August 20th  – August 24th

Amazing Inventors and Discoverers

 

During this week, students will be able to witness amazing inventors and pioneers from around the globe.  Understanding accomplishments made in science, to contributions in the daily items we use to make life easier.  During this week, students will become their own scientist and pioneers, creating their own unique inventions.  From potato clocks to complex Rube Goldberg contraptions, students will learn and become their own scientist.
