Elementary School-Aged Children

The elementary years are filled with learning and exploration. Children in this age group are not just developing academically, they are also learning new skills daily related to everyday life. Some of these lessons are tough and for some children, mastering the skills related to the lesson is even tougher. When this happens in one area, it is not uncommon to see your child start to struggle in other areas even those they are usually good at. This is something we are familiar with and the reason why we have modified our behavioral supports program to also support children in this age group. This program can help elementary-aged children with the following:

  • Anger Management

  • Anxiety Management

  • Behavior Modification

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Coping Skills

  • Self-Esteem Development

  • Social Skills

  • Stress Management

  • Organization & Time Management

  • Homework Management

  • Reading Development

One-on-One Sessions

One-on-one sessions are 60-minutes long, which includes 45-minutes of instruction and learning activities and concludes with a 15-minute wrap-up with the student and parent. The wrap-up is used to share progress, explain new techniques, and the areas of focus for the upcoming week. Students will be expected to complete tasks and activities in between sessions to help them master new skills.
