As a special needs sibling and parent and a person diagnosed with ADHD, Dr. Levi-Shackleford knows that those diagnosed with disabilities and mental health disorders face lots of limitations and barriers when it comes to them trying to live a life based on their hopes and dreams. She knows that those with a diagnosis are often excluded from programs and opportunities their neurotypical peers have access to. She has also personally experienced and witnessed those with challenges being directed to create goals and participate in activities that are less challenging because of outdated beliefs that anything more will be too complicated for the person.

Using her Discover, Unlock, Achieve method, she helps individuals Discover their strengths and how to use them to create personal life goals, Unlock their true potential, and Achieve their goals. Over the years, Dr. Levi-Shackleford has assisted hundreds of individuals with various diagnoses to create meaningful goals, identify the resources and tools they need to help them accomplish their goals, and begin to live the quality of life of their choice. She also provides training to help those who work with the population learn how to provide person-centered supports to create more accessible and inclusive communities and erase barriers.
